With your entry fee, all runners receive amazing views of the Central Iowa countryside, course support offered by hundreds of volunteers and the opportunity to race on some of the toughest backroads in the state

All finishers (every race) receive a 2025 Booneville Backroads Ultra medal featuring one of the many historic “Bridges of Madison County” on the course

There will be no refunds. Transfers are permitted for a small fee. This policy is necessary because almost all of the supplies and services for the event must be purchased well in advance of the actual event date.

***SWAG Policy***

We at Booneville are also ultra runners and our closet is overflowing with race shirts. Because of this, we institute a “pay for shirt” policy. Your registration includes a swag item (in years past it’s ranged from hats, amazing bags or camp mugs) plus additional items from our sponsors (which has included a free pair of socks), but if you’d like a race shirt you will need to include that in with your registration for an additional fee. We do this for a couple of reasons.

1. It allows you to save a little bit on registration if you choose to forgoe the shirt
2. Allows us to pick higher quality products working with great SWAG partners
3. Keeps race shirts that you don’t want out of the landfills.
